I am a final-year PhD student in the School of Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I am fortunate to be supervised by Professors Zizhuo Wang and Pin Gao. I received my bachelor’s degree from the School of Management at Zhejiang University in 2022, and visited HKU Business School from September 2023 to February 2024, hosted by Professor Xiao Lei.

I study how to design enjoyable and affordable marketplaces that create long-term value for users. My research uses matching, contests, and market design to improve engagement and retention on platforms such as video games, fitness, and education. I also examine the regulation of algorithmic discrimination and collusion to protect user welfare and support fair, sustainable digital platforms.

My research has been recognized with several academic awards, including INFORMS Service Science Best Student Paper Award (finalist, 2024, 2026), POMS China Best Student Paper Competition (first prize, 2026), POMS College of Service Operations Management Best Student Paper Competition (finalist, 2026), and ISCOM Best Paper Award (second place, 2025).
